Cayenne Lemonade



Starting tomorrow, apples, lemons and cayenne pepper will be my allies.


I figured that just saying "I'm gonna loose weight by eating less" is not a commitment at all. It's very relative, there are no rules and therefor, no boundaries.


I'll eat an apple before breakfast, lunch and dinner.
I read various studies that show that apples make you feel fuller, so, by eating one 15 min before each meal, I won't be so hungry during the meal and for more  hours after that than usual.


I'll drink lemonade with cayenne
Apparently, it is a know fact that a mix of water, lemonade and cayenne pepper is an appetite supressant. 4 glasses of water, 1 glass of lemonade and 1/4 - 1/8 spoon cayenne


I'm starting this tomorrow, let's see how it goes!

  1. I did the cayenne lemonade thing for a while last summer but to be honest it was to stop me from purging. I drank a lot of it all the time, so I wasn't very hungry, but I don't know if it was because of the fluid or the cayenne. Be safe xx

  2. Hey thanks for your advice! You're right, but it's just so awkward because I live with him too, if things become weird between us...it would just be so damn awkward xD

    Hm, I used maple syrup, but I don't think it's necessary, it's supposed to make it taste sweet but I like lemon and spicy things, so I only used a tiiny bit of syrup. You can try without, and if you don't like it then you can try and add some honey?^^ xx

  3. heya! im new here, but i just wanted to share my input on the lemonade detox. basically, what i read is that you need to drink laxative tea the night before and do a salt water flush in the morning. the salt water flush is not pleasant; you spend like 3 hours in the washroom...i know, gross lol. and you're supposed to have 6 - 12 glasses WITH the maple syrup bc mixed with the other ingredients, it detoxes different parts of your body. i didn't use it as an appetite supressant because i wanted to follow the diet to the "T". ummmmm drinking a litre of the salt water was just dull and painful. and then the cayenne burned my throat bc im a bulimic. i didn't plan on eating for the 10 days because the calories would come from the maple syrup, which like i said, apparently detoxes something in some way or another. im a perfectionish so i wanted to follow it exactly. anyway, after the first day, i trashed the idea because i was so miserable and i spent so much time in the bathroom that my bottom hurt! i like the idea of eating an apple before a "meal" for fullness! xoxo a
