Day 6

Today I decided to make a search about the number of calories I sould be eating per day in order to lose weight, acording to my stats.

So, I assuming I don't do that much exercise, and based on my age, height and weight I should:

TO MAINTAIN MY CURRENT WEIGHT
1800 - 1600 kcal per day

TO LOSE WEIGHT
1400 - 1300 kcal per day

TO LOSE WEIGHT FAST
800 - 900 kcal per day

I've been aiming for 1200 a day, so it's not bad.
However, by next week or so I'll try to bring that down to 1000 kcal.

TODAY 1223 kcal

Breakfast
1/2 a bowl of special K with milk

Lunch
1/4 of a plate of rice white
1/4 of a plate of pork roasted
1/4 of a plate of salad (tomato and lettuce)
1/2 a tangerine
1/2 mom's birthday cake

Dinner
1 bread with ham
2 slices of mom's homemade cake

Yea, there are a lot of cakes is this house. However, they're all homemade by my mom and she barely uses butter or sugar, they are pretty heathly as she uses lots of vegetables and fruit in it.

  1. To be honest, I don't think you should lower your calories. Losing weight slowly makes it so much easier to keep it off, and you don't end up hurting yourself. Try upping your exercise instead of lowering your calorie intake. But above all; be safe hon xx

    1. Sure:) You've got three days of the week to work out, which is great. I work out as much as I do because I have the time, but three days is excellent. I suggest that you take advantage of these three days as much as you can, with efficient workouts. Go for high intensity, a combination of cardio and strenght (or alternate, one day cardio, one day strenght etc) and if you have the time, work out for an hour or more. If you've got a gym membership and like taking classes, look for classes like step (if you can find a class called something with "pulse" and "step" then that's a killer workout), pump/bodypump, corebar, or even spin classes. If not, go for a run/jog outside and do strenght exercises at home using your own bodyweight. Google C25K for nice running programs. You can even go swimming if you've got the chance, that's a great workout. I really don't want you to drop your calories, but you can switch up the foods you eat for healthier ones, think wholegrains, lean meat, green vegetables. Eat healthy, unprocessed foods and work out three times a week and stick with it - that's a guaranteed success, I promise :) Hope that was helpful! xx
