WHAT TO RETAIN
- Don't blame your metabolism: you're fat cause you eat more than your body spends
- Proteins make you feel fuller for longer than carbohydrates and fat
- You excrete more fat my eating calcium than by non eating it
- If you increase portion size, you'll eat more, even if you're already full
- By keeping a food diary and having the notion of what and how much you eat, you'll eat less (and be honest!)
- You eat more at parties and social situations, since you're distracted
- At a buffet, eating a bit of everything is worse than eating a full plate of only one or two things
- Soup makes you full for longer than a solid meal (assuming the siup and the solid meal have the same values)
